Minimum recording requirements
To ensure smooth and reliable recording, your system must meet the following minimum requirements. Using lower-spec setups may result in performance issues.
CPU:
Intel: i3 or higher with Intel Quick Sync support. Check supported Intel processors
AMD: Ryzen processors with AMF encoder support and integrated Vega graphics.
Confirm H.264/H.265 support on your specific AMD GPU via the AMD product page.
GPU (alternative to CPU encoding):
NVIDIA: GPUs that support the NVENC NEW encoder (Note: GT/M models may not be compatible).
This requires driver version 500 or above. Check your NVIDIA driver versionAMD: Cards that support AMF encoder. Check supported AMD GPUs here
RAM:
Minimum: 8 GB
Recommended: 16 GB
Please note: Video capture cards are not supported. They cannot be selected as audio sources, encoders, or devices within Overwolf recording apps.
