If you've come across an issue where Overwolf itself and apps installed in it look botched and grainy or "refresh" when clicked (Check out some examples below), this is most likely due to a setting called "Hardware Acceleration".


This can be fixed very easily by disabling the Hardware Acceleration option in Overwolf. 

All you need to do is:

  1. Open Overwolf's Settings window


  2. Go to 'General'


  3. Toggle the 'Hardware Acceleration' option off


  4. Restart Overwolf in order for the change to take effect
