How to Create an Overwolf Account

  1. Go to Overwolf.com and download Overwolf, or visit the Overwolf Appstore and install any app you’d like (Overwolf will install automatically).

  2. Install Overwolf on your PC.

  3. Right-click the Overwolf taskbar icon and open the Overwolf Appstore.

  4. Click the Login button.

You can sign up using any of these single sign on options:

  • Google

  • Discord

  • Twitch

Or choose Sign up with email to create an account using your email address and a password.

If you choose the email option, you'll just need to complete a quick CAPTCHA check.


That’s it, your new Overwolf account is ready to go!

How to Change Your Avatar & Display Name

If you created your Overwolf account using a single sign-on option (Google, Discord, or Twitch), your avatar and username are initially pulled from that service. However, you can always customize what name and avatar appear on your Overwolf account.

To change your display name or avatar:

  1. Open the Overwolf app.

  2. Click Settings from the Overwolf menu.

  3. Go to Personal Info.

  4. Update your Display Name or click your avatar to upload a new image.

Want to Change Your Account Email?

If you need to update the email address associated with your Overwolf account, please send us a support ticket with:

  • Your Overwolf username and the date the account was created

  • Your current email address

  • The new email address you’d like to use
