This article explains how to activate and manage the hotkeys assigned to your Overwolf apps for in-game control.
To help prevent conflicts with in-game key bindings, Overwolf now manages app hotkeys per game. This means you can set different hotkey combinations for the same app depending on the game you're playing.
For example, you can set the Browser app to Ctrl + B in CS:GO and Ctrl + A in Apex Legends.
You can also use the same hotkey across multiple games while assigning it to control different apps in each one.
Note: The default hotkey for the Overwolf dock is Ctrl + Tab.
To assign / unassign hotkeys follow these steps:
Open your Overwolf settings:
Click the wrench icon on the Overwolf dock, or
Right-click the Overwolf tray icon and select Settings.
Select the Overlay & Hotkeys tab in the left menu.
Choose the game you want to edit hotkeys for.
Click the current hotkey for the app you want to modify, then press your new key combination.
To remove a hotkey, hover over it and click the X when it appears.
For global apps (such as the Browser), you can assign a hotkey to all supported games by hovering over the hotkey and clicking the arrow icon.
