I can see the Desktop window, but the in-game app isn’t working

Please try to check the notification message in the center of the desktop window which should provide the information about our app status.

If you see one of the following messages, please try again once it is fixed:

  • Sorry, the Apex Companion is down for maintenance. We are working to restore it as soon as possible.

  • Sorry, the recent game patch requires some adjustments. Overwolf is working to restore communication with the game as soon as possible.

If the app isn’t working and you see the status, “Start a match and the Apex Companion will automatically appear in-game,” please try closing and re-launching Apex Legends and the Apex Legends Companion.

How can I track my performance in Apex Legends not only during the game process but also historically?

You can visit, which will provide you with your metrics dynamics and ratings compared to other players on the platform. You can see which legends you play best with, and that will increase your chance of winning.

I can’t see any of the app's in-game windows during the first match of my game session

Please launch our app before your match starts or enable the auto-launch feature of our app in Overwolf's Settings > Games Overlay > Apex Legends, which will launch our app automatically.
