Overwolf is compliant with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), and we’ve updated our privacy policy in order to reflect what has changed. Even though these changes were started as European law, we do believe that privacy is an important topic and therefore chose to apply these changes to all of our users across the globe.

Here’s a quick summary of what all of this means:

  • We’re compliant with the GDPR.
  • We are not collecting any new data, or using it in any different way. We’re now simply providing better clarity as to what information we collect and what we do with it, in addition to what rights our users have regarding their information.
  • Our users get more control over their information and how it is being used.
  • We’re giving our users much more clarity as to the legal basis we use to process users' information, in order to provide them with various services, improve our services, develop new features tailored to users' needs, fight abuse on our services, and more.
