Missing store settings file

If you are experiencing random Overwolf crashes with this error message “No store settings file”, please check this solutions here.

1. .Net 4.5 not installed properly\ corrupted .Net 4.5

Overwolf and its App store is based on the .Net technology, please try fixing your system .Net using this Microsoft repair tool . If you can’t repair this issues using this tool please try resetting .Net using this guide

2. Reinstalling Overwolf

Let us try to do a clean sweep and re-install Overwolf. First, head to your control panel to uninstall Overwolf. Once you finish uninstalling it, head to C :\Program Files (x86) and see if you have an Overwolf folder (you shouldn’t), and proceed to do the following:

  1. Use the Window’s search (press the Windows key + R) .
  2. In the “Search” bar type “%localappdata%\overwolf” without the quotation marks.
  3. Delete the Overwolf folder.

Then use this direct Overwolf download. In order to install the latest version of Overwolf.
