Match Bar – Troubleshooting

My Season is not updating?

Seasonal data is handled by an external server that queues and updates active accounts using Match Bar every minute. For the first match you use Match Bar, the season data will stay blank, but by the second match it should start showing your seasonal data. If by the third match it still has not updated then please contact us on any of our channels at the bottom of this page.

Some of the parts of the Match Bar won’t show since the last version?

Sometimes you might end up with a broken settings file between patches.
To reset the application do the following:

  1. Shut down the Match Bar / Overwolf
  2. Press the windows key + R and paste this:
    %localappdata%\overwolf_apps\pubg_match_bar


    Hit OK
  3. You will see two files, crashData.json and settings.json. Delete both these files
  4. Start Overwolf and Match Bar again

I started a Match, the timeline did not start moving and events are not registered?

Match Bar functionality is based purely on the live events from Overwolf and PUBG.
First of all, check if the API for PUBG is Green by going here: Overwolf PUBG Game Events Status

It can take 10 minutes for that page to update with any new status. So take a break, grab something to drink and check again.

If it is Green try restarting the Match Bar application. Sometimes restarting the game is needed.
If that still doesn’t resolve your issue please contact us on any of our social networks at the bottom of this page and we’ll test it as well.

The game crashes when I start it with your app running

There is a known issue that is being worked on that if you have two in-game overlays from different programs (for example Overwolf and Rivatuner) and they both try to compete for the same space of your game screen they can have an impact on your game performance and for example cause crashes. If this is not the case for you and it still crashes then we want to know. Contact us on any of the channels at the bottom of this page.
